Detroit Panthers Held Free Agent Camp for the Upcoming 2008-09 Basketball Season

(Birmingham, MI)... The Detroit Panthers officially kicked off their 2008/2009 Basketball season by hosting a free agent camp this past weekend. This is the Panthers first year playing in the Premier Basketball League (PBL). The Panthers will play in the Central Division of the PBL.
"We had a great turn out for the camp and are looking at some great young talent with extensive basketball experience", said Head Coach and Assistant GM Bill Jones. Also in attendance at the camp was President and GM, Kevin A. Carter who explained that "We have been eagerly waiting for this day to strap on our gear and hit the hardwood in preparations for a great season in Detroit and the PBL as a whole," stated Carter.
