Detroit Hitmen Add Front Office Staff

The Detroit Hitmen have added four staff members to their front office. The additions to the front office are the continuing process of the Hitmen to have a solid foundation for the organization. All four new members to the front office are working toward the same common goal as the ownership of the team. "Winning is a standard in Detroit, I have added these individuals because they want the team to win off the ice as much as on," stated Matt Wiedenhoeft. He continued, "We are striving to be the best organization in this league and all of minor league hockey. That is a high standard with some of the teams in this business, but we feel that as a "whole" we can achieve this." Wiedenhoeft finished with, "The success in the front office with this talented group is only going to make our on ice success that much easier. We want to win every battle on the ice, and this group wants to do the same in their profession."

Matt Reno has been named the Director of Sales of the Detroit Hitmen. He joins the Hitmen with a vast background in sales. Matt graduated with a Bachelor's in Business Management from Grand Valley State University. With the years of sales experience behind, his degree, and his passion for sports, he was a perfect fit for the organization. "I am excited to be aboard a great organization like this," said Reno. "I am looking forward to the success this team will bring to the area. I am pleased that I get to be a part of what this team is doing," stated Reno. Wiedenhoeft said, "I am happy to find someone with Matt's credentials, and think he'll lead the sales in the right direction."

Calsie Cuellar has been named the Director of Marketing and Development for the Detroit Hitmen. She joins the Hitmen after many years of experience in different faucets of the professional business environment. Calsie has worked with different organizations throughout the Detroit Metro area, as well as in Ontario, Canada. "She is a perfect fit for this team, both in experience and attitude," stated Wiedenhoeft. "The very first time I spoke with Calsie, I knew she'd be a perfect fit." Calsie said, "I am excited to work with Matt and help this organization succeed to beyond the goals set forth. I am going to be doing everything I can in order to get the team exposed to all of the community."

Steve Gralewski has been named as the Videographer for all Hitmen games. Steve did all of the tapings for the league's previous team in the area this past season. This season, he will be taping all the games, as well as making clips for the team's website. The Hitmen are inquiring about webcasting the games, which Steve would be responsible for as well. "Steve did a terrific job last year. I have seen many of his videos on YouTube and think he's a great person for the position," affirmed Wiedenhoeft. "I am excited for this season. I am proud to be a part of an organization like this one. This team is doing all the items necessary to be successful, and I feel that it will be a healthy season," stated Steve.

Jason Eldred has been named the Media/Public Relations Executive of the Detroit Hitmen. Jason comes to the Hitmen via Wayne State University. Jason is in his third year as a journalism and communications major. He has written various articles for the school newspaper; as well as covered the Wayne State's women's swim team. "Jason has exceptional skill as a writer," exclaimed Wiedenhoeft. "I believe that Jason will take advantage of this opportunity." Jason was extremely excited once offered the position, "I can't wait for the season to start. I am looking forward to writing for this team and being a part of the organization," added Jason.

The new additions are a great fit for the Hitmen organization. The front office is coming together and strengthens the organization.
