Dethomasis Helps Stallions to 6-2 Victory

The Saugerties Stallions (6-3) beat the Glens Falls Dragons (2-8) 6-2 on Tuesday at Cantine Memorial Veterans Field behind Zach Dethomasis (Hudson Valley Community College), who collected three hits.

He singled in the first and fifth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

Andrew Workman (Quinnipiac University) got the win for the Saugerties Stallions thanks to six strikeouts. Workman allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks over seven innings.

Griffin Neuer (Bellarmine University) got on base two times in the game for the Glens Falls Dragons. He also drove in one runner. He tripled in the fourth inning.

Tristan Hubler (Oklahoma Panhandle State University) pitched lights out for the Glens Falls Dragons. The Saugerties Stallions managed just one hit off of Hubler, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Andrew Kneussle couldn't get it done on the mound for the Glens Falls Dragons, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
