Destroyers to Host Motorsports Night Presented by Marathon on Saturday, May 24

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Columbus Destroyers will feature a collection of race cars, trucks and interactive attractions during Motorsports Night presented by Marathon on Saturday, May 24. The Destroyers will take on the New York Dragons with kickoff set for 7 p.m. (ET) at Nationwide Arena.

Vehicles on display include the #45 Marathon car driven by Kyle Petty, #30 Lumber Liquidators Tundra show truck, the Pepsi Amphicar along with attractions including Jeff Gordon's #24 simulator and a display by Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and The Mid-Ohio School.

The Budweiser Tailgate Zone will take place on the southwest plaza (corner of Nationwide Blvd. and McConnell Blvd.) from 5-7 p.m. Food and beverage offerings at the tailgate will include beer from Budweiser, Bud Select and Bud Light, chicken wings from Roosters and pizza from Donatos. Budweiser Tailgate Zone parties will take place from 5-7 p.m. before each of the Destroyers' remaining home games. Music will be provided by QFM 96, 95.5 The Hawk and WINK 107.1.

Fans are also reminded that the Destroyers and Giant Eagle are teaming up with the Mid-Ohio FoodBank to TACKLE HUNGER in Central Ohio. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to all Destroyers home games to receive a raffle ticket for a game-night drawing.

Single game tickets starting at just $15 are on sale now at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office, ticketmaster Ticket Centers, ticketmaster.com, ColumbusDestroyers.com and FSN Ohio Blue Line team stores located at The Mall at Tuttle Crossing, Chiller Easton, Chiller Dublin and Chiller North.

Only on game nights, the Huntington $10 Ticket Blitz offers available lower bowl seats, regularly priced at $26, for just $10 at the Nationwide Arena Ticket Office two hours prior to game time. Also two hours before kickoff at the arena ticket office, college and high school students with a valid full-time student ID can purchase Raising Cane's Student Tickets for just $7. Students receive a voucher for a FREE Raising Cane's box combo with each ticket purchased.
