SOUL BACK TO WINNING WAYS AT HOME
After losing two games on the road, the Soul are back on top after defeating the Columbus Destroyers 51-43 on Saturday. The Soul stayed strong in the third quarter, outscoring the Destroyers 23-7. Gabe Nyenhuis had 1 ½ sacks to surpass Dwayne Missouri's single season record of seven sacks last season with 7 1/2. The Soul, who moved back atop the division with the win, are 6-0 at home and are looking to extend their streak at their next home game on Thursday, May 22nd against the Kansas City Brigade.
JACKSON CONTINUES UP AFL RECORD BOOKS
Chris "Money" Jackson is moving up the record books. With three receiving touchdowns on Saturday, Jackson has slipped past Eddie Brown's 303 for second all time, ending the game with 305. In Saturday's game, Jackson also had 5 catches for a total of 80 yards moving him up to second for lifetime leaders in receiving yards with 12,771 and fourth in receptions with 952.
SOUL LOOK TO TAKE ON KANSAS CITY
The Soul will take on the Kansas City Brigade on Thursday, May 22 at 7:30 p.m.(et). The game can be heard on 950 ESPN (WPEN). The Soul are looking for a comeback against the Brigade (2-9) after falling 53-41 at home last year. The Soul are 1-1 against Kansas City, with their only win being away.

BYE WEEK APPROACHING
The Soul have a bye week approaching. After Thursday's game, the team will be off for Week 14 but can be seen again when they travel to Dallas to take on their division rivals, the Desperados, on June 5th. The game will likely not only determine the division winner but also the conference champion and determine home field advantage up until ArenaBowl XXII.
