NEW YORK - The Chicago Rush (9-2) became the first team to clinch its division title and secure a first-round bye during the playoffs with its 72-28 victory over the Los Angeles Avengers (4-8) Monday night.
Chicago, who captured the Mitsubishi Motors Central Division for the second consecutive season, travels to EnergySolutions Arena to face the Utah Blaze (2-10) on Saturday, May 24 at 9 p.m. ET (AFL NET, ESPN360.com, CSN Chicago - Delay, 5/25 at 4 p.m. CT, KJZZ Local - Live, SIRIUS Radio - Channel 130).
