
Destroyers to hold scrimmage at Nationwide Arena Tuesday

COLUMBUS, OH - The Columbus Destroyers, presented by Germain, will hold a scrimmage against the defending ArenaBowl Champion Chicago Rush on Tuesday, February 20 beginning at 11 a.m. that will last approximately two hours. The scrimmage is free and open to the public.
The scrimmage will give fans their first look at the 2007 Columbus Destroyers including off-season acquisitions, quarterback Matt Nagy, wide receivers Damien Groce, Josh Bush and Tony Locke. Key returnees Brandon Hefflin, Kelvin Kinney, David Saunders and the 2006 Arena Football League Defensive Player of the Year Jerald Brown will be in action as well. Concession stands will be open and the Arena District offers numerous restaurants for fans to enjoy lunch following the scrimmage.
Columbus Destroyers training camp is now in it's second week at the Columbus FieldHouse. After the completion of the scrimmage the team will hold Media Day on the field. Head Coach Doug Kay, all coaches and all players will be available to the media.
