COLUMBUS - The Columbus Destroyers announced today a multi-year agreement with GermainCars.com to become the team's official presenting partner, the representation of which will begin immediately through the team's marketing and promotional materials. As the Destroyers presenting partner, GermainCars.com will be incorporated into all prevalent and dynamic arrays of team marketing and promotional elements, including the playing field being officially named 'Germain Field' at Nationwide Arena.

"When we heard the Arena Football League was bringing the Destroyers back to Central Ohio, primarily due to overwhelming fan support, we knew we wanted to once again be part of it," said Steve Germain, president and CEO of the Germain Automotive Group. "Arena Football is high caliber pro football that brings the fans within inches of the action. We know from our past experiences that it's a great way for us to connect with our customers and the community in a fun, family friendly environment."

"We couldn't be more excited to announce GermainCars.com as our presenting partner for the upcoming season," said Destroyers Chief Operating Officer Rich Witmeyer. "Their vision for the future of Columbus aligns perfectly with ours. The Germain Family has been a great supporter of the Destroyers in the past and their excitement and enthusiasm for the return of our team is contagious."

Additionally, the Destroyers will also work with GermainCars.com to present the team's "It's On!" outreach efforts, which will engage the Central Ohio community. The program will feature Destroyer players, coaches, and Germain associates working together to provide support and fulfill the dreams of deserving Central Ohio residents and their families.

"This partnership is all about making a positive impact," added Germain, "It's On!"
