Desperados Return Home to Face Crush

Dallas Desperados News Release
The Desperados snapped a two-game losing streak last weekend with a heart-stopping 65-64 overtime victory over the Arizona Rattlers at America West Arena. After the Rattlers missed a field goal at the end of regulation, they recovered an onside kick to start overtime and scored on a one-yard Sherdrick Bonner-to-Chris Horn touchdown pass, but missed the PAT. The Desperados then drove to a 10-yard Jim Kubiak-to-Shannon Culver touchdown strike, with Jason Wells making the ensuing extra point attempt to give Dallas the victory.
Dallas returns to Reunion Arena this Friday night when they host the expansion Colorado Crush at 7:30 p.m. UPN 21 will televise the game on a tape delayed basis, with Brad Sham and Mickey Spagnola calling all the action. The game will be shown on UPN 21 at approximately 9:30 p.m. following the conclusion of the Dallas Mavericks game (televised by UPN 21).
The Desperados begin preparations for the Crush on Tuesday, March 3 at Texas Stadium. They will continue their work Wednesday (March 4) and Thursday (March 5) at Texas Stadium. Coach Avezzano will host his weekly press briefing on Wednesday at approximately Noon in the visitor's locker room at Texas Stadium.
