Desperados Put Larrimore on IR, Re-sign Greenwood

The Dallas Desperados today announced that they have placed defensive specialist Kareem Larrimore on Reserve/Injured and re-signed defensive specialist Carl Greenwood from the practice squad.
Larrimore strained his lower back this week and has been unable to participate in practices this week. He has recorded 7.5 tackles, half a tackle for a loss and a pass defensed while returning 10 kickoffs for 169 yards in the last two games since returning to the field following a four week stint on Reserve/Injured with a sprained MCL in his right knee. He currently ranks fifth on the team with 24 tackles while posting a 17.6 yards-per-kickoff return average.
To fill Larrimore's roster spot, the club signed Greenwood from their practice squad. Greenwood spent the first four weeks of the season on the Desperados roster, totaling 8.5 tackles, a tackle for a loss and a missed field goal return of four yards. He was waived Feb. 28 and signed to Dallas' practice squad on March 6, where he has spent the last six weeks.
