Dallas Desperados News Release
The Dallas Desperados today announced that they have activated defensive specialist Kareem Larrimore from the Reserve/Injured list and have placed defensive specialist Carl Greenwood on Reserve/Injured.
Larrimore has spent the past three weeks on the Reserve/Injured list with a strained lower back. Prior to the injury, he had recorded 24 tackles, half a tackle for a loss, three passes defensed and two interceptions while returning 23 kickoffs for 404 yards (17.6 avg.). He had a four week stint on Reserve/Injured earlier in the season with a sprained MCL in his right knee.
To make room for Larrimore on the roster, the club placed Greenwood on Reserve/Injured with a strained right hamstring. Greenwood, who spent the first four weeks of the season on the Desperados roster, has totaled 16.5 tackles, a tackle for a loss and a pass defensed in the seven games he has played this spring. After his first stint on the active roster, he was waived Feb. 28 and signed to Dallas' practice squad on March 6, where he spent the next six weeks.
