
Delisle Returns, RiverKings Sign Two to Roster

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - Mississippi RiverKings forward Dan Delisle has been returned from loan in the ECHL, the team announced today. RiverKings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Derek Landmesser also announced today that the team has signed forward Corey Leivermann and defenseman Dmitry Peremikin. Terms and conditions were not released.
Delisle, 24, was loaned to the Bakersfield Condors Jan. 6 and then he signed with the Idaho Steelheads Jan. 23. He played 10 games in the ECHL, five for both teams, but did not register a point. The Arden Hills, Minnesota native played in 10 games with the RiverKings from Dec. 12-Jan. 4 and he had six points (5g, 1a). He scored the RiverKings first and only hat trick of the season Jan. 4 vs. the Louisiana IceGators at the Cajundome, in his final game before being loaned to Bakersfield.
Leivermann, 24, joins the RiverKings as a free agent and will make his professional debut tonight in Louisiana. The North Mankato, Minnesota native finished his collegiate career last season with Gustavus Adolphus College, where he had 40 points (20g, 20a) in 40 career games in two seasons. Prior to that he played at Minnesota State University - Mankato, playing in 42 games over 2+ seasons. Leivermann played juniors with the Fargo Force in the USHL.
Peremikin, 24, signs with the RiverKings after he played one game with the ECHL's Florida Everblades. The 6-foot-6, 220-pound defenseman played 72 games in Russia's VHL, the second-highest professional league in Russia, from 2011-14. The Novosibirsk, Russia native made his North American pro debut with the Everblades Feb. 11 vs. Fort Wayne. He is expected to make his RiverKings debut tonight.
The RiverKings are back home Tuesday, Feb. 24 against the Pensacola Ice Flyers for Miracle on Ice Night. Fans wearing red, white and blue to the game will get $2 off walkup ticket prices at the Box Office. There is also a blue-level and red-level ticket special through Feb. 20.
