Wilmington, DE - The Wilmington Blue Rocks proudly announce Mya DeLacy as the team's 2011 Halloween Costume Contest winner. Open to all kids 12 & under, the Blue Rocks' annual spooktacular competition invites young fans to creatively construct costumes that replicate some of Frawley Stadium's most famous characters. Two-year-old Mya dressed as her favorite Blue Rocks character, Mr. Celery, for Halloween (see attached photo). The Blue Rocks look forward to seeing Mya and her family at 2012 home game, including on-field pre-game recognition.

The team would like to thank all of the entrants to this year's contest and invites them all to participate again next year. The team's 2012 season gets underway on Friday, April 6 in Myrtle Beach, SC against the Pelicans (Texas Rangers). Frawley Stadium lights the lights for the 2012 home opener on Friday, April 13 when the Blue Crew hosts the Frederick Keys (Baltimore Orioles).
