Defenseman Ben Blood Reassigned to Binghamton

BINGHAMTON, N.Y. - The Binghamton Senators announced today that defenseman Ben Blood and has been reassigned from the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL to Binghamton by the club's National Hockey League affiliate Ottawa Senators.

Blood, 23, was reassigned to Elmira from Binghamton on Nov. 14. He is a plus-one and has amassed 15 penalty minutes in 15 games with the Jackals this season.

The 6-3, 232-pound defenseman has appeared in three games with the B-Sens this season, recording no points.

The B-Sens see action again tonight as they travel to Syracuse to take on the Crunch. Game time is 7 p.m. Fans can listen live on "Binghamton's Classic Hits" BIG 107.5 (WBBI-FM) beginning 15 minutes before game time as Grady Whittenburg, the voice of the B-Sens, hosts the Countdown to Faceoff.
