El Paso Locomotive FC News Release
EL PASO, Texas - El Paso Locomotive FC announced today that Defender Shavon John-Brown and Midfielder Christiano Francois will not be returning to the club ahead of the 2023 season. John-Brown appeared in 12 matches for Locomotive and won over 50 percent of his duels. An injury early in the season kept him unavailable for selection for the better part of the 2022 campaign.
Francois appeared in 26 matches with El Paso and eclipsed over 1,300 minutes in the Locomotive jersey, adding one goal and one assist to the El Paso stat sheet this season. The Haitian midfielder, Francois, represented his country in the CONCACAF Nations League in 2022 and made his debut with the Haiti National Team in 2019.
Locomotive would like to thank John-Brown and Francois for their time in El Paso and wish them the best in their future. More roster transactions will be announced in the coming weeks as Locomotive FC is gearing up for their fifth season in the USL Championship.
