Green is hitting .357 on the season, with four home runs and 24 RBI, as this story hits the press. His batting average has been in the top ten of the league over the past month and Green currently sits with the second best average in the league.
Green was named the Detroit Tigers Minor League Player of the Month for July, as he hit .350 with five doubles, a triple, three homers and 16 RBI during the month.
