
DB Aaron Willliams placed on IR

June 12th, 2009- Spokane, WA: The Spokane Shock announced that DB Aaron Williams has been placed on the Injured Reserve list today. Williams will be eligible to return to the active roster on July 11th as the Shock host the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Pioneers (9-2). The Pioneers were ranked fourth in the latest edition of the Coaches Poll.
Williams is second on the team in tackles (39.5) and has started in seven games for the Shock this season. Williams will remain on IR while he nurses a knee injury. He joins WR Patrick Bugg and DB Damon Jenkins who were placed on IR May 14th.
The Spokane Shock will take on the Lightning tonight in Stockton. Kick-off is set for 7:30 PM. Pre-game coverage begins at 7 PM on 105.7 THE PEAK with Larry Weir. The Shock will return home next week as they host the Tri-Cities Fever on June 20th. Tickets are still available and can be purchased by contacting TicketsWest.
