Dazzle 2004-05 Local Tryouts Tip Off October 9 & 10 at Glenvar High School

Roanoke, Va.-The Roanoke Dazzle will host their fourth open player tryouts October 9 -10 at Glenvar High School. Open tryouts enable regional talent to take a shot at becoming a part of the Dazzle 2004-05 training camp and an opportunity to join the NBDL. Dazzle tryouts are open to the public, participants must be at least 20 year old.
Head Coach Kent Davison and Assistant Coach Mike Brown will once again host this year?s tryouts. Candidates who pre-register will pay $100, while those who don?t register in advance will pay $150 at the door. Prospective players can download pre-registration forms from the Dazzle website at www.roanokedazzle.com or call (540) 266-1000.
Open player tryouts will begin with registration at 8 a.m. on October 9, followed by skill stations, shoot around and games from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Dazzle coaches will then select prospective players to return on Sunday, October 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. With final approval from the NBDL, candidates will then be invited to attend Dazzle training camp, in early November.
Last year open tryout participant Reggie Elliot signed an NBDL contract and made the Dazzle opening day roster.
