Dayton Gems To Donate Jersey Auction Proceeds To The Air Force Aid Society

DAYTON, OH - This Friday, January 29ththe Dayton Gems will be honoring the U. S. Air Force during Wright Patterson Night. The team will be wearing special Air Force Camouflage jerseys. Immediately following the game, the jerseys will be auctioned off to benefit the Air Force Aid Society. This program provides assistance to all Air Force and their families.

That evening when the Gems take on the Bloomington Prairie Thunder, all base employees, active duty andretired military will receive abuy one ticket get one ticket free discount. Game time is 7:30pm and many special tributes are planned for the evening.

Special events planned for the evening include: An honorary puck drop by Col. Bradley Spacy, 88thAir Base Wing Commander and Chief Master Sgt. John Hoffman, the Base Honor Guard presenting the colors, swearing in of new recruits and recognition of returning military and their families. The team will be lead onto the ice by Noah Geier, (who's father is currently deployed) who will be serving that evening as honorary team captain, and much more activities you will not want to miss.

Also that evening stop by the fan assistance table. There will be a raffle to win 4 tickets to the Columbus Blue Jackets vs the Dallas Stars game on February 4th.

All adult tickets only $10. Student and Childrens tickets $7. Groups are welcome and parking is free.
