Dayton Gems Shut Out By Flint Generals 3-1

Dayton Gems headed to Perani Arena & Event Center To face the Flint Generals. The Generals controlled the puck and shut out the Gems. There was no scoring by either team in the 1st period. Dayton held Flint to only one goal in the 2nd. Outshot for the evening 22 to 44 the Gems allowed the Generals to score twice in the 3rd to end the evening 3-1. The Gems are now 12/13/3/1.

Sunday the Gems head to Port Huron to meet the Icehawks at 5pm fans can listen live on the B2 network at www.daytongems.net. Check the website to sign up for email updates on the team or to have the Gems visit your event or school.

Gems next home game is Wednesday, December 30th at 7pm at Hara. It'll be ring in the New Year so bring your jingle bells and cow bells to help the Gems defeat the Fort Wayne Komets. It'll be another Gems Dollar Beer Night at Hara.

All adult seats $10. Students and children 12 and under $7. Parking at Hara Arena is free.
