32 prospects gathered inside the RINK Training Centre Wednesday looking to make their first impressions on ICE management as Winnipeg ICE Training Camp got underway.

The day started with fitness testing and was followed by off ice presentations focusing on the importance of the human side of the game. Players were then divided into two teams named after ICE alumni Jarret Stoll and Peyton Krebs. Each squad was put through the paces for 75 minutes by the ICE coaching staff.

"For me right now it's about getting into the routine. The bubble was an incredible experience, but now you have to bring energy, you have to bring excitement, communication, and preparation to our daily routine of being here at our rink" said Head Coach James Patrick. "This is day one of that".

Thursday will see the Team Stoll vs Team Krebs play a pair of scrimmage games starting at 10:30am.

A reminder Training Camp is closed to the public. Only parents / guardians and media will be permitted to attend as approved spectators until Sunday, September 5th.
