Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz News Release
OKLAHOMA CITY- The Oklahoma City Yard Dawgz continued their win streak with a convincing 57-35 win over the expansion Laredo Lobos Saturday night on Compassionate Care Hospice Field at the Ford Center.
A crowd of 6,898 watched the Yard Dawgz take a "bite" out of the Lobos, who came into the contest winless and left with another loss on their record.

The Dawgz led 26-16 at the half and got the ball back to start the third quarter. Al Hunt made another TD catch to give the Dawgz a 17 point lead early in the quarter. The Yard Dawgz and Lobos then scored two more times to finish the quarter, 47-29 Oklahoma City.
The Dawgz defenders played a major roll in the victory, as they held the Lobos from scoring on 3 possessions. FB/LB Aaron Chavers, ADT Defensive Player of the Game, led the defense with 3 sacks, 4.5 total tackles, and 3.5 tackles for a loss.
