The Hunt Continues: Al Hunt was his typical self before a minor injury cut his night short. Prior to leaving the game in the 2nd quarter, Hunt caught 4 passes for 57 yards. Hunt now has 147 career TD's (5th all-time), he needs 4 TD's to pass former Yard Dawg Jarrail Jackson for 4th. Hunt's 415 career receptions are 4th all-time.

Many Happy Returns: DB DonTa Bright and the return game never got on track against Amarillo. The Dawgz finished with 76 yards on 4 returns. So far this season, the Dawgz have racked up 784 yards on 41 returns and 5 touchdowns.

DE-fense: With injuries continuing to pick apart the defense, Head Coach Gary Reasons added veteran defensive back Travis Seaton to the mix and got a healthy Andre Burns back. Devin Rutledge keeps getting better each week. Rutledge finished the game with 5.5 tackles, 1 sack (3rd of the season), a forced fumble, 2 pass break-ups and 1 tackle for a loss. Newcomer Seaton added 5.5 tackles, while Burns snagged his first interception of the season.

Road Woes: The Dawgz head back out on the road to Arkansas to take on their division rivals, the Twisters. The Twisters are 2-3 overall, 1-1 at home. The Yard Dawgz are 5-2 all-time against Arkansas (including playoffs) and are 2-1 at Arkansas. The Yard Dawgz are 14-21 all-time on the road. The Yard Dawgz have lost 7 consecutive road games, including playoffs and have not won on the road since May 19, 2007.

Dawg Pound: The Dawgz will return to Compassionate Care Hospice Field at the Ford Center on Saturday, May 17 to host the Iowa Barnstormers. Kick-off is at 7:05 PM.
