Daredevils Upend the Alley Cats

Anderson, IN (February 17, 2007) - The Butte Daredevils came into the Wigwam and were able to walk out with a victory tonight against the Indiana Alley Cats, 124-114. The Alley Cats were only able to pick up one quarter point in the loss and fell to 17-15 on the season.
The Alley Cats came out on fire and took a 35-24 lead at the end of one quarter of play. The Daredevils bounced back to win the second and tie the game at 67 going into the half. It was all Butte in the second half as they won both quarters.
Carl Edwards was Indiana's leading scorer with 25 points to go along with his 6 rebounds. Shaun Fountain put in 22 points in his 29 minutes on the floor. Erick Barkley narrowly missed a double-double. He wound up with 16 points and 8 assists. Chandler Thompson added 16 points and Will Caudle contributed 10. Chris Garnett and Romuald Augustine each had a team-high 7 rebounds.
Odell Bradley paced Butte with a game-high 30 points, while Odartey Blankson finished with 28. Nick VanderLaan had a dominant all-around game. He scored 10 points, grabbed 20 rebounds, and dished out 6 assists. Ronald Ross tallied 18 points and 6 assists. The Daredevils improved to .500 on the season (16-16).
