
DareDevils sign Abney

St.Catharines, Ontario - Sep 12, 2005 The Niagara DareDevils announced today the signing of Point Guard LeBastian Abney from Pensacola, FL. Abney, 6'0 185 lbs, is a graduate of the University of Southern Alabama.
During his senior season, Abney consistently filled the stat sheet, averaging 10ppg, 5apg, 4rpg, and 2spg. LeBastian made a name for himself during his appearance at the Atlanta Pre-Draft Showcase where he averaged 20 points, 8 assists, and 2 steals per game and was named to the All-Star Team.
Abney will be in Niagara on October 14th to complete physicals and prepare for training camp.
