ST. JOHN'S, NL - St. John's netminder Yann Danis recorded his 400th AHL game, and 200th AHL win tonight as the IceCaps topped the Hartford Wolf Pack 4-2 at Mile One Centre on Saturday night.

The IceCaps struck first with a tally from captain Max Friberg. Tom Parisi and Jacob de la Rose picked up the helpers. Hartford's Steven Kampfer scored the equalizer with just one minute left in the second period on the power play.

Alexandre Ranger potted his first of the season with two minutes gone in the third to give the IceCaps a 2-1 advantage. Parisi and Joel Hanley assisted the go-ahead tally. The St. John's lead would only last for 12 minutes before Nicklas Jensen of the Wolf Pack potted the game-tying goal at 6:14 of regulation.

The IceCaps fought back with a tally from David Broll (from Joel Hanley and Stefan Matteau) late in the third, and added another one as Anthony Camara buried a breakaway goal to lift St. John's to a 4-2 win.

Danis became the 16th ever goalie to record 400 games, and the 14th ever to win 200 games with tonight's victory.

The IceCaps are back in action Tuesday night (7:30) at Mile One Centre to take on the Utica Comets. Catch all the action with broadcaster Brian Rogers at www.stjohnsicecaps.com, KIXX Country 930AM and www.ahllive.com.
