Nashville SC News Release
TAMPA - After scoring his 50th career goal on Saturday night against Loudoun United FC, Daniel RÃos was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week bench for Week 30 of the 2019 season.
RÃos' calm finish in front of goal on Saturday night helped lift Nashville to a 2-0 win over Loudoun United FC. Ropapa Mensah played him a ball across the box, and he tapped it home in front of the net. The goal was RÃos' 50th of his career and stretched his season total to an Eastern Conference best 18 goals. He has scored more goals in the past two seasons than any other USL Championship player.
The forward now needs just two more goals to match his season total of 20 from 2018. If he meets that mark, he will be the only player in league history to have back-to-back 20-goal seasons.
Excluding players on the Team of the Week bench, Nashville SC has been represented on 12 of the 29 Teams of the Week this season.
