Joey Calistri Named to USL Championship Team of the Week

PHOENIX - Phoenix Rising midfielder Joey Calistri was named to the USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 30 of the 2019 USL Championship season the league announced today.
Calistri came on as a sub in the 62nd minute and went on to score two goals, including a thrilling 90th-minute equalizer. Calistri also tallied two key passes, and completed 13 of 16 passes in the club's 2-2 draw with New Mexico United on Saturday.
Phoenix Rising clinched the 2019 USL Regular Season Title on Saturday night.
This is the 21st week overall this season a Phoenix Rising player has been recognized by the league and the second time for Calistri, who was previously an honorable mention in Week 22.
Phoenix Rising hits the road this Saturday for a matchup with Portland Timbers 2. The match will air live on Your PHX CW (channels 6 & 61.1) and online at ArizonaSports.com with kickoff at 7:00 p.m. Fans can watch the match at two official watch party locations: Paz Cantina in downtown Phoenix and Topgolf Gilbert. Topgolf will have five bays open for free for Rising fans.
