ELMA, N.Y. (Friday, May 22, 2015) - Daniel Clitnovici has been named the newest Director of Coaching for the Western New York Flash Academy, it was announced today. Daniel, a native of Australia, replaces Aaran Lines who has held the position since the program's inception in 2012. Lines will remain involved with the Academy as the Director of Soccer Operations where he will be overseeing the Academy as a whole.
"I am very excited to take on this role with the Western New York Flash Academy," said Clitnovici. "I look forward to using my experiences to take the Flash Academy to the next level and help players and coaches be the best they can be on and off the field."
"We are excited to welcome Daniel as the newest member of our staff. Daniel has proven success in growing and developing youth academies and we believe he can develop the Flash Academy into a platform for players in the area to reach the collegiate level," said Lines. "It's our goal to have our youth academy as successful as our professional team and we believe Daniel will help us make the Flash Academy one of the premier programs in the Northeast."
As the Director of Coaching, Clitnovici will oversee the development of the Flash Academy including players and coaches for the U9-U18 age groups.
