Danger Travel to Green Bay for Weekend Matchup
May 3, 2018 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Nebraska Danger News Release
The last time the Green Bay Blizzard and the Nebraska Danger met up on the gridiron, it was far too early in the year to know how the teams would perform. In that game, the Danger won comfortably 59-23, propelling them to a 2-0 start while the Blizzard fell to 0-2.
A lot has changed since then, as the Danger have won just two of their last six games, with the last three all being losses. As for the Blizzard, they're still hunting for win number one as they sit at 0-7 on the year.
The Danger have tried a little bit of everything to get back in the win column, including starting a new quarterback against Sioux Falls last week, but after a slow start, Head Coach Mark Stoute turned back to Jesse Scroggins who nearly led the team to a comeback victory.
Green Bay hasn't been fortunate either. Not only are they 0-7, but their last three games haven't been close, with the team losing by 21, 32 and 16 respectively.
However, they might be catching the Danger at an opportune time as they are losers of three-straight and just suffered a 62-48 loss to Sioux Falls, who sits second in the IFL standings.
Only time will tell to see how the Danger choose to attack the Blizzard, and who will be the quarterback under center for play number one.
Kickoff is set for 7:05 pm in Green Bay this Saturday, May 5. The game will be broadcast live on 2DayFM 103.1, or streamed live at www.2dayfm1031.com with live video available at DangerFootball.com/watch.
