Nebraska Danger News Release

GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA - The Nebraska Danger Indoor Professional Football Team has added four more players to their roster for the 2014 season. Danger Head Coach Mike Davis is pleased to announce the signing of new additions Ian Symonette, Vondrell McGee, Mon Williams and Chancey Aghayere.

Leading this list of signees is Aghayere, who was a four-year letterman for coach Les Miles at LSU. He played in 42 games during his career with the Tigers and started six times. He finished his career with 44 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss and two sacks.

"We are excited with what Chancey will bring to the table for us defensively," Davis said. "With Adrian Davis back, we hope Chancey can come in and played that other side of the line for us defense. He'll be a good addition to our team."

Davis added former Texas running back Vondrell McGee and Eastern Illinois product Mon Williams to his group of running backs that will compete for time in 2014. McGee played three years for the Longhorns rushing for 976 yards in his career and scoring 14 touchdowns for coach Mack Brown. Williams, who played on two national title teams at Florida, played two years for the Gators before transferring for his final two seasons. At EIU, he rushed for over 1,000 yards in two seasons and scored 12 touchdowns.

"We like what both of those backs bring with them," Davis added. "They have nice speed and will compete for time with us. We think they both will be able to earn some playing time with us next season."

Symonette a 6'8, 345 pound offensive lineman from the University of Miami will add depth to a solid front for the Danger that has already signed all-league performer Darius Savage. Symonette, a Houston native, played collegiately at the University of Miami (FL) where he was a letterman for the Hurricanes in 2007 and 2008.

The Danger, named the 2013 IFL franchise-of-the-year following their 2013 run to the United Bowl, will begin the 2014 season in February with a schedule to be announced later this fall.
