Nebraska Danger News Release
GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA - The Nebraska Danger Indoor Professional Football Team has added five players for 2015, including a pair of former NFL players.
Fresno State's all-time leading rusher, Robbie Rouse, brings his tough running ability indoors after a stint with the Cleveland Browns. Rouse amassed 4,647 yards in his career with the Bulldogs, reaching the 1,000 yard mark in each of his final three seasons.
The University of Arkansas provides another high-profile addition to the Danger defense. DeQuinta "DD" Jones joins fellow Razorbacks Adrian Davis and Jamar Love in 2015. Jones spent time in minicamps for both the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Seattle Seahawks.
"Adding guys with NFL experience is always nice, because they already know the ropes, and they know what they need to work on to get back to that level," said Danger head coach Mike Davis.
The Danger also picked up Martin Lawrence IV from the University of South Florida, Marquaveus Jackson from Tennessee State, and Demetrius Pettway from Western Michigan.
"Our roster is really coming together," Davis said. "I'm hoping to bring in a few more guys and then see how everyone competes in camp to make the final 25-man roster."
The 2015 season will begin for the Danger on Sunday, March 1 in Wisconsin versus the Green Bay Blizzard. The Danger return to the Bone Yard on March 7 to take on the expansion Wichita Falls Nighthawks with kickoff set for 7 pm.
Season Tickets are now available at the Heartland Events Center Box Office. For more information, visit www.dangerfootball.com.
