July 19, 2013 - Indoor Football League (IFL)
Nebraska Danger News Release

Grand Island, Nebraska - Nebraska Danger Indoor Professional Football Team Owner and President Charlie Bosselman is pleased to announce that Danger Head Coach Mike Davis will continue in his role of Head Coach for the 2014 Danger season.

"We are very pleased to re-sign Coach Davis for the 2014 season," said Bosselman. "We were thrilled to finish our season in the United Bowl this year, and Mike's leadership and coaching experience continue to move the Danger forward. We have an awesome fan base to support us and we're excited to have Coach Davis on our staff and excited for the future of the team."

Coach Davis remarks, "I am excited to continue to build the Danger Football organization both on and off the field. The community of Grand Island has the best fans in the league and they deserve one of the best teams in the league to go along with that. I am happy that the Bosselman family continues to see me as the leader of this team again next season."

Born and raised on the east coast, 2014 will be Davis' fourth season at the helm with the Danger. Previously, Davis played six years in the arena and indoor leagues before moving into coaching. In 2013, Davis led the Danger to their first ever playoff appearance and win as they defeated the Colorado Ice 55-50 in the Intense Conference Championship game. Under his leadership, the Danger have posted an 18-25 record, including an 11-5 mark this past season. Davis had previous head coaching stops with the River City Rage, which he led to the 2008 UIF divisional championship game, and the Omaha Beef, which he led to the 2010 IFL playoffs after a 2-4 start.
