Danger Re-Sign Standout Libre; Add New Kicker

GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA - The Nebraska Danger Indoor Professional Football Team continues to recruit for the upcoming 15-game IFL season. Danger Head Coach Mike Davis is pleased to announce that the following players have signed for 2013:

Daniel Libre: RB, 5'6 208 University of Hawaii, CFL - Edmonton Libre, a native of Hawaii, brings a wealth of indoor experience to the Danger. He led the team in 2012 in rushing with 493 yards on 114 carries and added 19 receptions for 170 yards while scoring nine total touchdowns.

"Getting a player like Daniel back was instrumental in the team being successful," Davis said. "He is a constant team leader who is durable, tough, hard-nosed and disciplined."

Joe Houston: K, 5'6 170 University of Southern California During his senior year at USC, Houston made 10 out of 16 field goals, scoring 73 points for the Trojans in 2010. Last year, Houston kicked for the Chicago Rush of the AFL where he made 65 PATS and two field goals. "If you want to win a championship in this league, you have to have an accurate kicker," Davis comments. "We feel Joe is a guy that can take our team to the next level."

The Danger will begin the 2013 season with a home opener against the Lincoln Haymakers of the CPIFL on Saturday, February 23. Kickoff at the Heartland Events Center is at 7:00 PM.
