Danbury Westerners to Sell Alcoholic Beverages at Limited Games

DANBURY, CT - The Danbury Westerners, the longest tenured team in the prestigious New England Collegiate Baseball League, are proud to announce that they will be selling, on a limited basis, beer and wine at their home games.
Starting on June 23rd as the Danbury Westerners take on the Newport Gulls, you can "Cheer with a Beer" at Rogers Park, as the Westerners will be selling alcoholic beverages to fans of the age of 21 and over. The Westerners will be serving select beers and wines by the glass on three dates during the season, with the promise of considering serving alcohol at more games in the future. In addition to the night of June 23rd, these adult beverages will also be sold on Saturday, July 2nd (Danbury vs. New Bedford- doubleheader), and Thursday, July 21st (Danbury vs. New Bedford).
Come out and support your local Danbury Westerners and "Cheer with a Beer." The alcohol selection will feature domestic beer, light domestic beer, and an import beer. The wine selection will include one red wine and one white wine.
The Westerners encourage fans to visit Rogers Park on those dates and during all home games throughout this season. The Westerners also encourage you to enjoy the game and your beverages responsibly.
