
Dallas Wings Charli Collier Named to WNBA All-Rookie Team

Arlington, Texas - Dallas Wings center Charli Collier was named to the WNBA All-Rookie Team, the league announced today.
Collier led all rookies in rebounding, grabbing 3.6 rebounds per game, and notched the third most points among rookies, while also boasting the best field goal percentage (46.5%). The University of Texas product also became the 16thplayer in WNBA history to record a double-double in her debut, notching 11 points and 10 rebounds at Los Angeles on May 14, 2021. She set her season high with 13 points, while adding eight rebounds against the Las Vegas Aces on July 11. The first overall pick in the 2021 WNBA Draft, Collier recorded 31 offensive rebounds this season, which was the most by any rookie, and helped the Wings lead the WNBA in offensive rebounding.
Since moving to Dallas in 2016, the Wings have had at least one rookie on the All-Rookie team every year, including Arike Ogunbowale (2019) and Satou Sabally (2020), who were both named All-Stars in 2021, and 2017 WNBA Rookie of the Year Allisha Gray.
