Texas Tornado News Release

Dallas Stars head coach Dave Tippett was on the ice with the National Champion Texas Tornado during their practices on Tuesday November 2 and Wednesday November 3.

Tippett assisted Tornado head coach and general manager Tony Curtale with various drills, while discussing hockey strategies aimed at improving the team.

"The Texas Tornado is the best team in the North American Hockey League, and it is nice to be associated with an organization and a coach (Tony Curtale) that want to become even better," said Tippett.

The Tornado players received a couple different ideas from Tippett and Curtale was happy that Tippett was out to provide some different ideas. "Dave is one of the most innovative minds in the NHL, and a coach with his experience should only make some of our guys better."
