Daley and Wiggans named to USL First Division Team of the Week

Charleston, SC. Charleston Battery midfielder Omar Daley and goalkeeper Keith Wiggans have both been named to the USL First Division Team of the Week following the Battery's 3-1 win versus the Montreal Impact Saturday night at Blackbaud Stadium. Daley scored Charleston's second goal of the game blasting past Montreal goalkeeper Greg Sutton in the 60th minute. Wiggans recorded six saves as he marshaled the Battery to its second win of the season.

Charleston Battery Coach's Show tonight at Manny's Neighborhood Grill

Join Coach Anhaeuser and his players tonight at Manny's Neighborhood Grill for the live broadcast of the Charleston Battery Coach's Show. The Coach's Show is part of the Ted and the Team broadcast on ESPN Radio 910 AM with Ted Byrne.

Battery hosts Islanders Saturday Night at Blackbaud Stadium

The Charleston Battery hosts the Puerto Rico Islanders this Saturday night at Blackbaud Stadium; gates open at 6:30 PM with kick off set for 7:30 PM. The Battery is still unbeaten on the season with two wins and a tie; Puerto Rico enters the game on the back of a 3-1 home win versus the Atlanta Silverbacks. The Islanders have played five games so far with two wins, two losses and one tie.
