SAVANNAH, GA. - The Savannah Bananas and the Bananas team bat dog Daisy are hosting Bark at the Park Night on Monday, June 20th at Grayson Stadium for the Bananas game vs. the Wilson Tobs. First pitch is at 7:05pm.
Fans are invited to bring out their favorite four-legged friend to the game. The party will start with a pre-game pet parade around the bases at 6:45pm. There will be contests for largest dog, smallest dog, best dog costume, the dog and owner who look most alike and more.
Daisy and her four-legged friends will be involved in additional promotions throughout the entire game, including the first ever dog races and dog dancing contests.
ANIMAL ADOPTIONS ON SITE
The Bananas found Daisy abandoned in the parking lot of Grayson Stadium when she was just six weeks old. She was adopted by team President Jared Orton and his wife Kelsey. To help other abandoned dogs and cats find loving permanent homes like Daisy did, the Bananas are teaming with TailsSpin, a local pet store with locations in Savannah, Pooler and Whitemarsh Island, to provide fans with the opportunity to adopt a four-legged friend of their own. There will be dog adoptions taking place throughout the game.

The Savannah Bananas sold out the first four games of their inaugural season. Two upcoming games, Friday, June 17th and Saturday, June 25th are also already sold out with additional sellouts expected July 4th weekend as well as weekend games throughout the rest of the season.
