Daikawa Headed to UW-Stout

Minnesota Wilderness forward Kullan Daikawa this week announced he plans to play his collegiate hockey at the University of Wisconsin-Stout.

The native of Lino Lakes, MN, is in his 2nd season of junior hockey. In the 2021-22 regular season, he played 19 games with the Wilderness, recording 3 goals and 8 assists for 11 points. He has also appeared in one playoff game. Daikawa began the year with the Granite City Lumberjacks of the NA3HL, where in 27 games, he posted 16 goals and 22 assists for 38 points. In his rookie campaign of 2020-21, he appeared in 33 games for the Lumberjacks, generating 17 points.

UW-Stout is based in Menomonie, WI. The Blue Devils play NCAA Division III hockey in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
