D-Fenders Announce 2012-13 Opening Day Roster

EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles D-Fenders finalized their opening day roster, it was announced today.

Entering training camp with 16 players, the D-Fenders have placed Cecil Brown (UC Santa Barbara) and Renardo Sidney (Mississippi State)on the inactive list due to injury. Per NBA Development League rules, to reach the 10-man roster limit, the D-Fenders also waived Rashad Bishop (Cincinnati), Mamadou Diarra (Chaminade), Augustine Okosun (Northwood) and Tristan Thompson (North Texas). The complete roster is included below.

Led by new head coach Reggie Theus, the D-Fenders begin the 2012-13 NBA D-League regular season on November 28th at home versus Idaho at 7 pm. All D-Fenders games this season can be watched online through the NBA D-League YouTube Channel, and four games will be televised on CBS Sports Network (January 8th at Iowa, 7 pm PT; February 25th vs. Idaho, 6:30 pm PT; March 11th vs. Austin, 6:30 pm PT; March 30th vs. Santa Cruz, 7:00 pm PT). For the second consecutive year, the D-Fenders will play all home games at Toyota Sports Center, the Los Angeles Lakers training facility, in El Segundo, CA.
