D.C. United News Release
Washington, D.C. (November 7, 2008) - D.C. United owners and co-managing partners Victor MacFarlane and Will Chang announced today a reorganization of executive management in an end-of-season letter to fans.
As outlined in the letter, MacFarlane and Chang have assumed the titles of co-executive chairmen, and announced that all CEO level decisions will be made by the owners. The partners further announced that team management executives Kevin Payne, Dave Kasper and Tom Soehn will return to the club.
"At D.C. United, we set the bar very high, and this year we did not achieve many of our objectives on and off the field," said MacFarlane and Chang in the letter. "By reorganizing and reinvigorating the organization at the executive level, we further commit to our mission of winning championships and serving the community."
