HOUSTON, TX (Friday, November 7, 2008) - Tickets are still available for the Houston Dynamo's Western Conference semifinal game Sunday afternoon at Robertson Stadium, it was announced today.
Although more than 25,000 tickets have already been sold, fans can still get tickets by logging on to HoustonDynamo.com or by calling (713) 276-7500. On Sunday, stadium ticket windows will open at 10:00 a.m.
"There are still good tickets available for Sunday's game," Dynamo Chief Operating Officer Chris Canetti said. "There's not a bad seat in the house at Robertson Stadium, but tickets are going fast, so we urge fans to get their tickets as soon as possible."
The Dynamo sold out each of their home playoff games last year, with crowds of more than 30,000 cheering Houston on to victory. The Dynamo are hosting the New York Red Bulls on Sunday in the second leg of their total-goals series, which is tied 1-1 after the first leg. The winner of Sunday's game, which could go to overtime and penalty kicks, will advance to the Western Conference final the following weekend.
The Houston Dynamo will continue their pursuit of a third consecutive MLS Cup title on Sunday afternoon with their first home playoff game, set to kick off at 2:00 p.m. at Robertson Stadium against the New York Red Bulls. The teams tied the first leg 1-1, and the winner of Sunday's game will advance to the Western Conference championship.
