Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Day Set for July 25th

The Skyhawks announce Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Day for Saturday, July 25th at Skylands Park, sponsored by Akadema. Starting at 12:00pm there will be an all ages hitting clinic hosted by Skyhawks hitting coach a 3x MLB all-star and World Series champ Dave Cash!! The cost of the clinic is $10 per person, with all of the proceeds going to the greater New Jersey chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Don't miss this rare opportunity to get some great pointers from a former Major League great! Akadema Professional will also be providing their new Extension Catapult Aluminum Bat Series for clinic participants to use in the Skyhawks' batting cages. This new line of baseball and softball bats will also be available to demo throughout the game. Akadema has partnered with the Skyhawks for this special day providing blue bats for both teams to use. These professional limited edition blue bats will be available for purchase in the pro shop following the game with 100 percent of the proceeds going towards the CFF. These bats are extremely limited and are on a first come basis! Blue "Breathe" wristbands are also available for purchase during the entire season with proceeds going to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
