Cyclones Announce Summer Concerts Coming to MCU Park

On Saturday, July 23rd MCU Park hill host the Disco in the Park. Come dressed in your favorite 70s attire for a musical trip down memory lane.

Tickets are $35 and include a box seat for the August 22nd Cyclones game. Tickets will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, May 21st at 10:00 AM by calling 718-507-TIXX, visiting BrooklynCyclones.com or in person at the MCU Park box office.

Come dressed in your 70s best for a night of fun and music featuring: - Stayin' Alive - A Tribute to the Bee Gees - The Trammps - "Disco Inferno" - Rochelle Fleming - "Armed & Extremely Dangerous"

DOO WOP AT THE BALLPARK - JULY 30th: After the success of last year's show, the Brooklyn Cyclones will once again host a Doo Wop concert at MCU Park on Saturday, July 30th. Tickets will go on sale Saturday, May 21st at 10:00 AM by calling 718-507-TIXX, at BrooklynCyclones.com or in person at the MCU Park Box office.

The concert will begin at 7:00 PM with gates opening at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $40 and include box seats for the August 17th Cyclones game

Those who will be performing are: - Kenny Vance & The Planotones - "Looking for an Echo" - Jimmy Gallagher & The Passions - "Just to Be With You" - The Legendary Teenagers - "Why Do Fools Fall in Love" - Cleveland Still & The Dubs - "Could This Be Magic"

"THE IRISH MUSIC SENSATION" ANDY COONEY JULY 24th - The Irish Music Sensation, Andy Cooney, will make his Coney Island debut on July 24th. Tickets for the show will go on sale Wednesday, May 25th at 10:00 AM by calling 718-507-TIXX, logging on to BrooklynCyclones.com or at the MCU Park box office.

Tickets for the show are $25 and include an additional ticket for a box seat to the August 2nd Cyclones game.

CYCLONES TO HOLD AUDITIONS FOR ON FIELD HOST: If you are looking for a fun summer job, then look no further! The Brooklyn Cyclones are searching for an energetic, outgoing and fearless individual who wants to be part of the fun and excitment that is Cyclones baseball.

Auditions for the new on-field host for the 2011 season will be Thursday, May 26th at MCU Park from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM.

KEEPING UP WITH THE 'CLONES: With the 2011 minor league season in full swing for the Mets full season affiliates, there are several formers Cyclones who are off to hot starts. RHP Chris Schwinden ranks among the league leaders in the International League (AAA), while infielder Josh Satin is ripping up the Eastern League (AA) and outfielder Cory Vaughn continues to impress in Savannah (A).
