Cyclones Announce Captains for Upcoming Season

October 24, 2006 - Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) - Twin City Cyclones News Release

The Pee Dee Cyclones are announcing the selections for captain and assistant captains for the Cyclones' 2006-2007 season.

Veteran Chris Crombie will lead the Cyclones, with Allan Sirois and Edan Welch serving as assistant captains.

Join Captain Crombie and the Cyclones on November 3rd for opening night featuring "Operation Slaughter" with former WWF Superstar Sgt. Slaughter at 7:10PM. The Cyclones will take on former Pee Dee Pride standout Brian Goudie and the Richmond Renegades. Also, join the Cyclones in retiring the first jersey ever to be raised at the Florence Civic Center, Pee Dee hockey veteran Eric Naud's No. 20.

On Saturday, November 4th the Cyclones will host the first annual Cyclones' tail-gate party at the Florence Civic Center featuring live music with Trey Davis, chili cook off, car show, and plenty of fun for the entire family. The event is free. Afterwards, stay around for "Pack the House Night" as the Cyclones face their No. 1 rival, the Fayetteville FireAntz. The first 1,000 fans will receive magnetic schedules. After the game, join the Cyclones for a meet-and-greet in the upper parking lot of the Civic Center, as Trey Davis takes the stage again.
