Denver Cutthroats News Release

DENVER, CO - This Saturday hockey fans can get a preview of something the Denver area has not seen in 23 years - professional hockey in the Denver Coliseum.

The Denver Cutthroats will open the doors to the historic Denver Coliseum at 2:00 PM for an Open House event that includes a public skate, the chance to meet players and staff, purchase the first items of team merchandise, and secure their seats for the upcoming inaugural season with full-season and mini-plan ticket packages.

Admission is free for the event and skates will be available for rent to participate in the public skate on the Coliseum ice. The event will conclude at 5:00 PM.

Along with the open skate, fans will have the chance to shake hands with Head Coach Derek Armstrong as well as a few of the players signed for the upcoming season. Visitors will also be able to catch a glimpse of the partially-constructed, new video board that will hang over center ice.

Those that have already placed deposits on season tickets can arrive an hour early (1:00 PM) to select their seats for the season based on the priority number they have already been given. For those still interested, the team will be taking season ticket orders at the open house for new customers.
