Williamsport Crosscutters News Release
Luis Ramirez walked Connor Kaiser with the bases loaded and two outs in the bottom of the 9th , allowing the winning run to score and extend the Cutters losing streak to 7 games.
Ethan Lindow had his longest outing, working 5.1 innings. The lefty allowed to runs on eight hits, while striking out five in a no decision.
Ben Pelletier drove in his team-leading 11th RBI on a ground out to give the Cutters their only lead of the night. Danny Mayer plated his 6th RBI with a sacrifice fly.
Austin Ross entered with two on, hitting the first two batters he faced, which allowed the tying run to score (charged to Lindow). Abdallah Aris took the loss, exiting with the bases loaded with two outs in the bottom of the 9th.
The Crosscutters last base hit came in the 4th inning. They were able to get just two runners on base from the start of the 5th inning on, getting a walk by Matt Kroon in the 6th and then Rafael Marchan was hit by a pitch in the 7th
