Cutters Split Doubleheader

The Crosscutters split a twinbill, that featured a pair of one-run contests, in Batavia. Kicking off a four-game in three-day series.

Alec Bohm gave the Cutters the lead in the 6th inning in game one with a RBI double. Ben Pelletier added two more RBI to his total in game one. The Cutters recorded all of their offense in the top of the 6th inning, being no-hit through the first five innings.

The Cutters were held to two hits, being blanked in the night cap. The sixth time they were shutout this season. Williamsport left six runners on base, finishing the night 0-7 with runners in scoring position.

Williamsport was held hitless until the 4th inning in game two.

Tyler Carr made his 1st professional start in game two. Working three shutout innings, allowing two hits and striking out three. Abdallah Aris took the tough luck loss in game two, working three innings, allowing one run on one hit and striking out five.
