Cutters Need Someone to Fill Mascot\'s Shoes

Are you the type fan at baseball games who tries to rally the crowd in hopes of spurring the team on to a big rally or a pivotal strikeout? Or the fan who just likes to have fun at the ballpark no matter what the score is? Or the fan who enjoys wearing a giant yellow costume and is the center of attention at all times?
If any of these descriptions fits the kind of fan you are, then you are just what the New Haven County Cutters are looking seeking.
The team is looking for that certain outgoing person who wants to become a vital part of the Cutters' team and the entire Yale Field atmosphere by donning the Tripper costume and becoming the team's loveable mascot. It is a chance to be an active part of the game and be the most visible and most easily recognizable being in the entire stadium.

Cutters Sign Rookie Backstop
Rookie catcher-utilityman Eddie Wilson is the newest member of the Cutters' roster. The 5-foot-9, 208-pound Taneytown, MD resident played college baseball at Coppin State University. In addition to his catching duties, Wilson could play some first base and serve as a designated hitter.
Wilson came to the Cutters' attention after playing various affiliated minor league teams in Florida this spring. He was part of the same team as veteran righthander Nick Maness, who is expected to be one of New Haven County's starting pitchers, and rookie hurler Shane Moran.
